I wont disclose who sent it to me. And in posting this, I will say that I wont play into anyones games (meaning in the futue I wont respond to his/her messages) But what the heck?! The message reads:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you some kind of school mole or what? I try to read all the forums and you show up on all of them!!
With the number of postings you have and the fact that you keep posting on the MUA forum, if you don't announce where you will be attending soon, then I will turn you in as a 'troll'. You have managed to interfer with school discussions that you have no knowledge about, but you claim you are a 'prespective' student on other forums...which is it??? Keep it up!! I've never turned in someone for trolling, but I think you are a true case to be investigated.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Does the sender have a case? Am I not alowed to post on multiple boards? Again, I hate posting this, cause I hate negativity. I'm just curious, as to he/she could turn me in as a troll?!

Just turn him in as a tattle tale and a busybody. Then remind him that this is a public forum...key word being public.

You can post in any forums you want.
You dont have to say which school you are attending or plan to attend.
And how does one turn someone in for "trolling" when anyone can post in any forum? What a goof!
Dont let it get into your head.

Yea, Physics isn't extremely interesting (for now, semester II gets more interesting) I would rather do some Bio classes, but hey at least the Physics tests are open notes!

i dont think ppl should be stopped from posting anywhere...
However,i once asked a question in the AUC forum and was told not to post there...by the students and the mod!!! so....but that was an academic question..
I do agree with one thing in the msg you got....If someones not on the school yet,it doesnt make much sense for them to be posting abt things on the Island, school, quality of education or anything like that,it amounts to slander....
I think ppl are in a position to comment abt the school only if they have been there...

The Terms of Service (http://www.valuemd.com/disclaimer.php) are reasonably clear and the moderator has reiterated that it is fine for anyone to post on any board. Although MUA doesn't like it when there are negative posts about the school (mopo), the objections are made when people posting suggest/affirm that they are someone else, or post material that appears to be deliberately misleading.
Students considering MUA (and probably other schools as well) should feel free to ask questions and get opinions from whomever they like. Most of the threads on this forum are dedicated to thinks like phone service, food, housing, cars, and the like. The same way that it would be improper to call anyone who places a critical post a "troll" it is also improper to call anyone who places a postive post a shill.
The purpose of the school is to turn out solid physicians (and we're doing that quite well, thank you). It is a strongly academic atmosphere that requires dedication and sacrifice for the 20 months of Basic Science, but it generates results.
The semester is just getting cranked up; study hard.
