Hi Everyone,
I've read plenty of posts of people taking the Dawn II to reach Saba, but do students ever use the Edge as well?
The Dawn leaves from Dock Maarten while the Edge leaves from Simpson Bay/Pelican Marina - is one dock easier to access than the other?
Thanks!

The Edge leaves early in the morning so it is often difficult to catch for students flying into St. Maarten as most flights from North America arrive later. The Dawn leaves for Saba between 5:30 and 6 PM and often also has later boats at the beginning of school.
Simpson Bay is closer to the airport while Dock Maarten is on the other side of the island.

how about neither unless you love throwing up and getting thrown up on. the last time i took the dawn, i turned around to a first semester student projectile vomiting what looked like ground beef on about 4 other people....which then spurred more vomiting from others......seriously the worst boat ride of my life....

there are many posts previously describing the ride from the dawn to and from saba. i will tell you that i have survived a car accident where hte car flipped at 80 mph, i will tell you that i have been "cougared", i will also tell you that i have been pooped on during a rotation by a patient but all 3 of those crazy stories will not top one ride from the dawn II from saba to st maarten. may god have mercy on the souls of all the noobs who take the boat thinking its a good deal
