Hi, I was just wondering to get suggestions on MCAT prep. For a classroon course which would you recommend Princeton Review or Kaplan? In terms of prep by books which is better Kaplan, Princeton Review, ExamKrackers? Any suggestions would be great Thanks

SDN does have a good section - I suggest Princeton over Kaplan based on feed back I have gotten over the past three years. Also what I have seen of the Kaplan materials they are out dated and silly. I saw people with the Kaplan flash cards during the breaks in my MCAT and they were looking at molecules that don't even show up on the exam.

I like the examkraker books for verbal section. Their method is the best for verbal. Princeton hyperlearning books are really good - Barron's practice exams are good as is the review materials. Also download the old MCAT tests from the site and use these also for practice.

Now the hard part most people underestimate the amount of practice you need for the MCAT to do well. I would get the Examkraker books along with Barron's and the Princeton Exams and do one section a night and score it every night for about 12 weeks before the exam at the least. This is along with classes and the prep course.

Yes - Princeton does the verbal go back method - it does not work as well as the examkraker method.
