Hello everyone,
I like to ask few questions about the loans at Saba. How are loan program at Saba? I heard Saba has Ed Invest.
Is it easy to get loan from Ed Invest? What are the interest rates like? Do we need cosigner or can we get loan without cosigner? How much is origination fee? How much can we take at one time? Is it enough to cover the tuition for whole year--3 terms? Any other difficulties during the process one might expect?
Please give response so i can look into it....:)

Read the Financial Aid forum, it's been discussed there. It's also very new, so very few people have any experience with the results of this program.

here's the exact email I got from the fianncial aid cordinator.
Hello ******,
I sincerely apologize for the delay in response to your emails. I was hoping to have more news on loan programs to offer you, by now.
Currently, we are offering the Ed-Invest loan program through Richland Loan Processing Center. However, the lender is not accepting applications for the Jan. 09 term, yet (please check with me next month on when you can submit your application for that loan period). We also have the Davenport MBA or MPH online program, which allows you to apply for that funding, which can help with your living expenses while you study at Saba.
I have attached some information on both those programs for your review. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.
Regards,
*****

Hmmm. I didn't realize that you couldn't apply for funds for the Jan semester. That really bothers me. I hope its just a hold on new applications and not a trial run and they end up cancelling the program. Ugh. Just went when I thought things were looking up, this makes me feel pessimistic.
