asking for information about PLAB exams

Hello everybody,

I am interested in knowing abt PLAB examination, if anyone has gone trough this-because i know there r 2 plabs plus an Ielts exam. It would really b helpfull to know from others what is that like....how big is it comparing to the USMLE or to the canadian exams for catching a job there etc. Also if u know how much plab1 is valid after u take it(few months, 1 yr or..)....it would b good to know. I heard that if u pass all these with good rank u need then to apply for a foundation program...because its not necessary jst to take the plab's ...so what do u know abt this foundation program and if there r really chances for u to obtain something.
I am looking forward for any kind of information,thank you in anticipation.

If you're not from the EU then passing the PLAB is the least of your worries compared to getting a work permit.
