Everyone can do rotations in the USA , but 1st important thing is you should have passed USMLE step 1, 2nd important thing is to get USA Visa, if you are permanent resident of Canada or Indian citizen. You can do rotations on your USA visitor Visa. If you get 6 months or 1 year visa, than after that you have to apply for visa again once it expires. But if you are issued multiple entry 10 years visitor visa(usually issued to Canadian permanent residents) than it would be fine to study throughout.

Ya you can do rotations in the US even if you a re a non US resident. As the previous comment stated you have to complete your step 1.You need to get a B1 visa for that or if you already have a visitors visa you can do your rotations with that. You would need papers from the school and the hospital you are going to be rotating with to prove that you would just be doing your rotations. You may have to leave the US every 6 months or so and reenter again.

I thought u guys once said, that its now difficult or more like impossible to get visas from the carribean esp st kitts.????? i applied to windsor early january and got accepted for transfer into MD3, but never came because after my research on valueMd, everyone advised me to stay back in Nigeria, rather than come to Windsor, as it would be difficult to do my clinicals in US as i wished, due to the Ban on visas to Non-Us residents....
Pls still need ur advice because its still not late or me. The school i am in now,(IGBINEDION UNIVBERISTY OKADA)sucks.

It is difficult to get visa but people still do it.... Well make sure your current medical school is WHO recognized before you transfer(if you want to transfer).... most students who are not from north america decide to stay back on the island or got to UK rather than the US(mainly i guess because they dont want to take step 1 before they are done with med school).... Try contacting the school and see if they could help you with contacting some nigerian students ... I guess you would get a better perspective on the issue from them...

I guess you could if you already have one...you wouldnt be able to get an F1 just for the sake of rotations as this is not a US based school.....
