The new owner has to get rid calls herself a financial aid person.
The new owner also should get rid What kind of people are running the head office. They are brining the school down. I am sure that I am not the only one who is frustrated.

Well, considering that there is currently no financial aid available I really do not see how useful a financial aid officer can be. It is not difficult when there are loans available, you apply get approved (or denied) fill out the paperwork, sign the documents then send it off. She would probably deal with whatever it is the school has to deal with on their end. Since there are no loans at this time I could understand the frustration. I personally have never had a problem with her but I guess each persons situation is different and there attitudes probably mirror whatever problems they may be having with tuition.

As for the clinicals guy... I agree that more could be done to make the students aware of their options. When I spoke with him it seemed like he wanted to place me where he wanted to place me and that was that. It took a little prodding to get what I wanted out of him.

Nothing happens overnight though. Whatever changes are going to happen I think it will take a little time. Rome was not built in a day.

Well Ms. S, I assume you are referring to.

She has treated us well and has gotten what was needed done when there were loans and to those that still have loans she does her part without problems. What experience do you have otherwise? The financial aid officer does what she is told and signs what she signs and sends what is to be sent. There is no job requirement for her to do more than that. She is not responsible because TERI loans backed out of all Caribbean schools.

I do agree something should be done to secure loans but administration as a whole must deal with it.

NEW OWNER - if you are out there reading please get loans for our fellow students!!!!

I empathize if you had TERI loans and could not get any more but those of you who just started you should have done your homework before coming to Spartan. It is one of the best priced if you are self-pay.

Don't expect any loans soon.

loans, clinical sites, new faculty...those are what we need...not sure about getting rid of people...lets be nice...but please...lets learn from the almost 3 decades of bungled management...being passed on to us every tri...funny how a semester is called tri when all others do not...i understand it is only a third of the academic year...but does that also mean we are getting less? i heard we used to have stafford...what happened? still, things are happening...spartan will soon conquer hospital sites...the new boss is a US surgeon...check out the new faculty and new hospital sites for rotations...Nevis, AUA, Xavier, Sint Eust students...there is hope in this school...cheap too.

It does ruffle feathers though, look at the basic sciences and the changes in profs....there was a time in basic sciences where many profs need to be rid of...just wasn't in our time....
