OK I have a few questions. I am signing a lease at Campus Village and the unit will not be ready until Sept 1st. Where should I stay while I am waiting for the place to come available? I was looking to come to the island around the 26th so should I get a hotel room somewhere and if so where? Also this place is on the ground level what should I do the send a message to all the insects that I do not want them there? The lady @ Solutions said that after a month of living there I could put my name on a list which would let me move to higher floors after units come available. Is this standard or should I get it in writing? Thanks for the info.

Sonesta is great, they have student discounts. For solutions, be sure to get everything in writing.

I looked at their pricing and @ $188 per night what kind of student discount do they give? What about Mary Boon's I think they have a studio for $75 a night.

the student rate was $99 a night a year ago, although taxes make it to $121 a night. It is closer to campus than Mary's Boon, but with transportation, neither is too far away.
