hey everone, whoever is in the clinicals, just for curiosity i just want to know the lifestyle of clinicals. is it mostly in the hospitals or classes? is life in the clinicals as much work as residency or less? do u have classes or hospital work over the weekends? how often u have to stay at hospitals all nite long? are the core electives harder than general electives? any information will help.

clinicals are not bad. mostly hospitals but there are one or two lectures a week in the hospital. you'll have a lot of work to do but with less responsibility than a resident. depending on your call schedule, you might have to go in on weekends. there are over night calls where you have to stay all night long and not leave until noon the following day (30 hours max).

are the cores more hard or the electives? the overnite calls is that quite often? how much time do we get off between end one core rotation to the starting of other if we do get any? does the schedule changes often?
