residency requirements

Anyone know where i should look to find out the requirements for residencies in TX and CA...i have heard that some programs in those states require a certain amount of time in certain rotations (ex. some places in CA require 6 weeks in family practice rather than 4). before i jump into all my electives i just want to make sure.
anyone have any idea where the best place to find all this out would be?
