yes i believe so, but you need to have a certain gpa and usmle1 score to do rotation there. i believe it is 3.2 and 210? but not 100% sure

I was offered an Emergency Medicine elective there earlier this month, but had to turn it down. Not sure about cores, though.

only offered to the jan class- not on option for the aug class anymore...

at kern right now. am doing a ton of electives here. Is def still an option. There is a cutoff for GPA (3.2) and Board Score (210). If you didn't get Kern for cores, apply for Psych rotation here. That's the easiest way to get into the system. But beware, lots of people feel that KMC is ancient in it's technologies and ways of practicing medicine. Prep for the scut you never knew existed.

basically because Kern has a gpa/step requirement- well because of the step requirement really--and the start date for kern was july 1st so being able to finish in May and take step I and having the scores back by july 1st was a stretch - i mena you would essentially need to take it by the last week in may to meet that deadline....
