Hi,
Is American One MD a plan for cell phones or is it for landlines? Do you get this plan once you come to school? In need of some help. Thanx for your responses. =)

Alot of people I know who have used americaonemd in the past have had trouble with connecting, service, and billing. Here's the website if you'd like to check it out for yourself.

My wife and I have switched to cards4students and have found them to be superior in every aspect.

Both of these plans work with cellular services; not sure about land lines (which you wouldn't want here anyways because they are so cost prohibitive!). Hope this helps!

america one md overcharged me $300 and went behind my credit card companies back to send it to collection as it was in dispute. it was a really big problem. DONT USE IT. i have been here 5 semesters and it took me about 4 to leard about www.cards4students.com they have the best plan and you even get american airlines miles. my parents use it to call me too. its really great, and its by prepaid cards so you cant get ripped off. its only 20 cents per minute. i highly recommend it.

I use americaonemd and have had no problems with them in the 2 semesters i have used them. I use it at Ross, and when my parents call me it is 25 cents per minute as compared to 43 cents per minute by cards for students.

I've used AmericaOneMD for 4 semesters now with no problems except the occasional not being able to get through, which I attribute more to the island network than anything else.
There were people who had problems a few semesters ago, but it never affected us.
Haven't heard any complaints about the Cards4Students thing.
