Hey just wanted to ask fellow AUC students who have taken the step b/t May 15th-June 28th and those who have taken it in the past,

Did you guys get your scores at the same time as the US kids?

and if you've taken it recently, did u guys get your scores yet?

Lots of people are waiting. You will likely receive an email close to noon today, which contains a link to your score. Expect lots of internet traffic, etc....

I received my score this morning around 10am. I believe everyone who took the exam between those dates have received their scores this morning.

I took my test on June 23rd and I got the email today at 9:52 AM. I didn't find that OASIS was running slow, but I almost had a heart attack while I configured the pop up blocker to allow the score report to pop out.

Now that I have my passing score in hand I can start making all those (kind of) boastful comments that I really wanted to after the exam, but was afraid to because there was a chance I would have to eat those words. I think I would like to start with 'The USMLE really isn't all that bad.'

Everything seemed so much better today though. Driving through Atlanta traffic didn't bother me, crappy songs on the radio didn't bother me, staying in the house with my overbearing mom didn't even bother me...I'm a USMLE passer!

Yes, the earlier, the better. Do it by subject area during year 1 - start off doing 10 q. per day and don't worry about how many you get correct, just try and learn the concepts and the way questions are asked.

There is also a program that runs on PCs made by rapid review floating around and the questions are fairly easy but they are short enough to do during study breaks. The concepts don't change much from year to year so even though this progam is older than UW I found it helpful.

I took my test on May 16th and got my score back three weeks later. I think I just missed that change-over to the new format, but most of my friends who took it in June received their scores this past Wednesday. I know they send scores out every Wednesday, so maybe there's just been a back up with the large number of students taking the test at the same time, and you'll get your results this Wednesday.
