Okay I am a little confused. Can a current student please help me with these minor questions:

Is there, or is there not, a bookstore on campus? I keep hearing and reading different things. And if so, is it still cheaper to get them on ebay etc. or are they cheap at the bookstore?

What is with the dress code? The info pack says that women need to wear a "white coat" over top their clothes and then provide drawings. On other pages they refer to "Lab coat" so is this "white coat" supposed to be a blazer or a lab coat that we wear to class? And also, how strict are they really with this dress code? No jeans really?

I think that's all for now...I just want to make sure I pack what I need.

Okay I found the answers by joining the facebook group for Spartan and talking to some current students:

There is a bookstore on the island

The white coat is a lab coat.

Simple enough...

There is a bookstore on campus. I personally thought it was easier to get them in the states if you had the extra space (and weight allowances in your luggage)

No jeans really? No Jeans. Dress Professional. Lab coat is a white coat. get the med student one (cuts off at your waist/hips) if you want to use it during your rotations. I recommend getting a longer one to avoid getting anything on your cloths during anatomy lab. You will be required to wear your lab coat at all times.

Get first aid and memorize ever bit of info in there throughout your time on the island. It will make your life so much easier when you want to study for step 1
