Just wondering about the college football television coverage on sxm...

Do any of those channels channels come in on cable? Can we see most of the big games (Big Ten, SEC, PAC 10 etc) on TV there either at our apartments or at bars/casinos?

Thanks

Right next to AUC is the Atlantis casino. Part of the casino is a sports bar compete with betting and about 10-15 plasma tvs. They telecast most major football games - college and pro. You can ask for a specific game and usually they can find it. The only times we lost coverage is when it rained on the satellite dishes

All the major games are carried on cable TV there. My morning routine on Sat would be to wake up about 9am and drive down to the sports betting casino described above. I would place my bets and it made the college games much better. I would carry my books up to Rick's place and watch football all day, eat nachos and study. Fun times...

I don't know about the college scene, but I just hope my Dolphins finish a lot better than dismal this year! I'm all for a good game any which way, so on Saturdays and Sundays I'll be right with the rest of you football junkies.

I figured the "uf" in your handle referred to that lil' school in muggy Gainesville. :) Since we've lived in NC, I've been turned onto the Panthers a bit. No great college football rivalries to speak of here, although basketball is a whole different animal.

I spent the last four years as a swim coach, being away most weekends especially in the fall, and yep, that included being on deck during football games. It's going to be so nice not to have to zip over to Sportsline and catch the belated scores!
