Just wondering who here has recently sent in their applications and waiting for a response? I sent mine in last week for January 2009. I'm anxious and waiting! It'd probably be a month away before I get a response though..

we are still waiting for a response for Sept. 08. So hopefully we hear something soon. But you applied far in advance so Im sure you will do good for Spring. Good Luck!

Because adcom is also working on the fall 08 class, which is the largest class, the jan 08 application processing time might be a little longer at the moment. Be patient, and good luck.

I originally wanted Sept 08 but changed it because I am still trying to finish a course before September. Sigh, how I wish I could make the sept time frame =)

Relax, enjoy, and try and focus on learning your coursework well. Once you start medical school, your life will change a lot.

I was recently contacted by AUC that they have received my application but are awaiting 2 reference letters (I had 3 sent in because I am not a traditional science background -> from engineering). I hope some good news will come out of this! Good luck to you, and I'll let you know if I hear anything from them!

They took like 2 weeks after my application to tell me that they were missing some sheet that needed my signature, but I got it in and my admissions counselor lady said that she sent my app to the admin committee like exactly 2 weeks ago. At that time she said they "definately have some spots" left for the September class, I dunno if she was jsut saying that to get me to apply in the first place cause I was still deciding whether to apply. I'm sure it's almost full by now, do you guys know if AUC does a waitinglist like SGU and Ross does? Thanks.

I believe AUC does the same waitlist procedure as SGU and Ross. If you are waitlisted, you would automatically be placed in the next round.

I submitted my apps June 30, and my counselor just called and said I was still missing paperwork~! But I applied for May 2009 round, though. Best wishes~! =)

Did you mean Fall 2008 or 2009?!

I meant Fall 2009. I applied to AUC when I submitted all my med school applications; MD and DO. I have a few secondaries for State schools right now, but I am happy I got in somewhere. I applied early to ensure I could get a spot, and I did.

I got my acceptance call on the 18th and was planning on submitting my acceptance fee by the 1st of August. My admissions adviser called me early last week and told me that the spots were filling fast and that I needed to get my fee in ASAP to avoid all the seats filling up. I would give MEAS a call.
