Help Finding Temporary Housing with Dog

My family and I arrive on the island 2 weeks before our apartment is ready. We have a small dog that we're bringing with us, and I'm having trouble finding temp housing that doesn't exclude pets and isn't super expensive.

Also, it seems like most of the hotels want to charge $40+ per "extra" person per day. Since we have 2 boys that's an extra $80 a day. What's up with this?

Check with solutions and see if they have any empty apartments. They do allow pats in the apartments, so they might rent one to you for a couple of weeks if they have something available.
