Does Ross provide you with scrubs or do you just buy whatever scrubs you want?

Ross doesn't buy you scrubs, you're on your own for that one.

I knew a dude who wore a butchers coat over his clothes, and then there were the students who thought they were auditioning for Grey's Anatomy or House, and wore the scrubs, lab coat, cell phone clipped to their pants, and some even had the surgeon's mask to go with it.
Then there was the old lady who wore the pesticide mask in the lab, she was a couple of semester's below, albeit really funny.
Moral of the story, dress up as you wish, just don't look too much like a tool.

Lol I never made that connection.......but then again I don't watch Greys anatomy and House with that much detail (or at all for that matter) to the OP buy some cheap scrubs ...... in the past it has been a bit lax to dress up but with the new instructors.....we are being required to dress up even for the practicals......scrubs are much more comfortable anyway

Buy whatever fits your style... at the end of 2nd semester some girls were wearing tanktops and scrubs bottoms... at least it made the lab a little more interesting...:D
Oh and the 1st semesters didnt have to wear scrubs for their practical this semester...

Haven't most of you worked in a hospital at some point prior to medical school? Take the thin, cheap, free scrubs you got from them!

Rule of thumb, Ross will usually never buy their students anything.

Except a cheap umbrella and a cheap flashlight, and the weirdest scantrons I've ever seen to take tests on (honestly what's with the square bubbles?)

yes specially when the A/C is kickin' nice and cold:shock:
and to UFGator: silly newbie no caribbean school "gives" you anything...imagine one of our schools actualy providing you scrubs" tuition would of course have to go up $500 a semester for all 10 semesters to cover the cost of the new innovative "service" they provide

being a UFgator, you might want to find out if jorts and mullets are appropriate dress for labs

Ha ha, I remember getting that crappy umbrella and flashlight during orientation week. The umbrella will hold up for a semester maybe two if you're lucky. The flashlight I lost after it broke off of my keys, descent though cause it was one of those xenon bulbs. Those scantrons sucked for sure. I'm glad that USMLE time is in 2 weeks for me and all I have to worry about is clicking a mouse button.

i got my cheap scrubs from allheart.com...it's like $10 for both top and pants. Besides, they stink so bad after lab (sometimes even after they get washed), I don't think it is worth spending a lot of money on it
