How hard is it to get all your rotations at Providence? ....I think I have seen a waitlist mentioned before in reference to this site....How does that wait-list work? Can you sign up right when you start basic sciences? Thanks :);):shock:
-just wanted to try these smilies.:shock: These two look like they are straining too hard on the toilet.

rotations are first come, first served. you must have step 1 scores before you can be placed

Haha, all joking aside, i just finished 5th semester in April and I know a couple of people in my class that got in there, they had to take their step like in May to do it, but it apparently is possible.

Yes, there is a wait list, and yes it can be very long. In fact, I was on the wait list for almost a year.....I'm dead serious. You cannot apply for the list until you have passing Step 1 scores. I got my scores in August, immediately put my self on the list, and just started here on Monday.....11 months later!!! The good news...once you get here, you can stay here because you can do all of your rotations here. Of course, by this point I don't have that many more left to do...but oh well.

Very smart. Arkie is always thinkin.
I do think that with Providence, Kern, and Nassau I think more folks will find it easier to do all rotations in one spot. At least that's my hope

Which semester is easier getting in at providence? I am entering in January. Also, what about Aultman hospital in Ohio? Is it hard getting in there?

The hospital that we list in Ohio currently has intermittent availibility the last time I checked. Remember that frequently, the affiliation agreements that Caribbean programs have with hospitals can often change which means by the time that you are ready for rotations AUC can either expand or reduce the number of spots at a given hospital.
