Hi I would really appreciate if someone answered these for me.

What kind of financial aid is available for people who get into PreMed? Would I need a cosigner?

Is there enough time to apply for PreMed?

How long would it take on the Island all together if I went from a successful completion of PreMed to the end of Med school?

the only fin aid for premed is private loans, if you even want to count that as an aid, and depending on your credit score, you may need a co-signer

3 yrs for pre med and 4 yr for med school, so 7 yrs

as far if there is enough time to apply, call the school

For the SOM, what is the exam schedule like for the larger credit courses like anatomy, histo, physio, biochem, etc.. is it 2 tests: a midterm and a final or is it broken up more. Also, are these exams MC, fill in the blank/short answer, or a little of both?

If you qualify, you may be able to enter 3rd year of premed. If you're coming straight out of high school, you will likely need to take all three years.

As for the med program, you may qualify (if you wish) to spend the first year in the UK and second year in Grenada. Most likely, you'll spend both of the first two years in Grenada (since you will already be settled here). Finally, your last two years of med school (years 3 and 4) are spent at clinical centres (hospitals) in the USA or UK.

In total, you will probably spend 5 years in Grenada (3 years of premed and the first 2 years of med), and then 2 years in the USA or UK.
