Know your general embryology, theres about 25 questions on it and Dr. H teaches you none of it.

I highly recommend the Kaplan videos for anatomy. I think the guy who does it videos is really great-my favorite part was when he pretended he was the testis...The videos helped me A LOT for the abdomen section. As for embryo, I never touched it...

Thanks for all the advices so far...yes I know the embryo portion is shady but thats 25 q's (17% of the test). I usually hear from people to skip or vaguely read embryo...but since I have a month to go, I am planning to prepare that. Kaplan videos sounds good...is there any other way to prepare with shelf q's? besides reading BRS or baby moore from cover to cover nd doing BRS questions....thanks again !!!

This may be too soon to warn you but embryology is basically your main questions on your step. (when it comes to anatomy) So it can't hurt to learn the basics when it comes to arches, pouches, and migration.

For the shelf, I went through the chapter summaries in the BRS, all the clinical correlations in Moore, ready the High Yield Embryology pdf file in it's entirety, did Michigan questions, and watched kaplan videos with my friend.

i would say do BRS questons, and if you can do those questions, you should be good; thats all i did. you ll be surprised to see few exact or similar questions.

when you guys say pelvis and abdo are the most pecent of the exam, how much percent or how many questions out of the total 150 comprise of pelvis and abdomen?
25 questions is embryo...
could I get an approximate breakdown? of upper limb, lower limb, back, head and neck, thorax, obv pelvis and abdomen
