Rotations Delay

I was wondering if anybody can attest to the fact that there is a huge delay in rotations currently and if anybody ever had an experience in which they lost a year of school because you were unable to match for residency on time due to the delay in clinicals?

we're not that bad yet. I've been told Ross had/has that problem though.

however it is possible, e.g. if you are offered acgme rotations in multiple states and you refuse to move. then you'll have to deal with it by fitting in electives or sitting out.

I was delayed due to financial reasons ... I think most of the students get a rotation assignment if they are not too picky. :D
