OK freinds here is the situation,
I graduated from an Eastern European(Eu country) Medical university Some years now. ive been working in the Middle east and Africa for awhile. I do have a reasearch backgound also.Unfortunetly though i do have a considerable gap time .............
Now i want to go for my residency program in internal medicine and im conciderning Uk , Ireland, germany or
The State...
what is causing me massive anxieties is the time for preparation for licensing exams and the procerdures.
:confused:I really dont know how to tackle this whom to contact..
id like to get anyones opnion who went through the licensing procedure for uk /ireland or germany..
After going through all those exams is securing a residancy a sure thing?should i just forget about europe all together and tackle the Usmles???

I would say stick to USMLEs....coz getting into England is really hard unless you're an EU citizen....and even if you do pass the licensure exam (PLAB), getting employed is a whole another ball game...but you can still consider Ireland and Scotland which are still as good as England...but US is the best option....

It counts for the whole of the UK, so Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have the same restrictions as England
