Please start announcing to your classes that a Student-Dean meeting has been set up for the general student population with Dean, Dean of Clinical Sciences on Tuesday, July 8th in the reserve time (12:30-1:20) in Lecture Hall 4. At this meeting, students are encouraged to ask about what's going on in clinicals since we don't hear that much about that phase of our medical education.

Make a list of questions... please dont be shy to ask. .... as I moved onto the 3rd year,... I sort of figured it out myself and it's very hard. ...Dont leave that island until you know what are you gonna do and what is expected of you once you pass the Step 1.

and please update us on anything new during the meeting:D

cheers!

Can someone verify the rumor that we have a new clinical site in Michigan for IM and Surgery at the meeting?

The meeting on Tuesday July 8 at 12:30pm is only for 5th semester students as the Clinical Team has specifically requested this. The meeting will be used to give specific information that is only relevant to students entering clinicals next semester. Attendance will be taken at the meeting.
There will be a meeting for all other students on Wednesday July 9 at 5:30pm in Lecture Hall 4. If you have questions or wish to know more, you are encouraged to come to this general meeting.

I can see into the future. It says we have a pilot site in Michigan. Detroit to be exact. So all those from the dirty city, i mean motor city, rejoice. Speaking of....where is that dude that transfered because we lost michigan?
It also says we re-upped with Florida Hospital. These are my visions from god. Quick, what disorder do I have?

Yes, I was pointing out that my previous post was while intoxicated. At least I didn't say anything bad that would earn me a fate worse than death....an INFRACTION! I always see that and think it says infarction, which would actually be funnier.

P.S. The long-awaited meeting is taking place as we (the royal we) speak. And I am nowhere near it. Those who went, please spill the beans.

I wasn't there but I don't think there was. It would have been all over the board by now. I think it was strictly clinical information.
