in a meeting with clinical directors, my fly on the wall tells me, that they were issued with in information, that showed a significant number of people were allowed to walk in the graduation ceremony in May even though they were nowhere near completing 80 weeks!! We aren't talking a few weeks here people. So I assume that their diploma scroll boxes were empty? well, was it? and if so, I've never heard of a respectable university allowing such practice! Doesnt it defile the whole point of graduation? were you standing beside someone who had just been awarded an empty box?
It appears the reason behind this was they had space at the lincoln hall this May and that due to the amount of people expected to graduate in May 2009 they might be struggling for space...so some bright spark decided to let a load of unqualifieds walk this May instead.
SGU needs to hire a bigger hall it would seem......
