In the new Excel format, where is the "condition code" entered? (I don't see a specified column, although there are separate tabs for types of patient encounters.)
Also, are the condition codes to be entered lettered (based on patient encounter, such as "OB" for obstetric) and numbered (based on problem, such as "15" for postpartum hemorrhage)?
Of course, I know I could enter patients under the different tabs, based on the type of encounter. However, if that is the expectation, then why would they mention lettered codes?
I'm new to Excel, so perhaps I'm overlooking a feature.
