Hey I wanted to know does St. Matthew's really base your admission on a good MCAT score. I talked to the admissions people today and she said the lowest score they accept is a 10. That doesn't make any sense to me because that is a very low score. I just recently applied to St. Matthew's and I have not taken the MCAT yet, but I will be in August. I really haven't studied for this exam. The admissions committee already accepted one of my friend's and has hasn't even taken the MCAT. Do they just want you to take the MCAT for formality issues? If anyone can help that would be great.

they base their admission on several factors including the mcat, the role of the mcat depends on how strong you other stats are eg if you have a good gpa or experience that will make up for a low mcat and vice versa.

i think that with the current situation, your admission depends on whether you will be paying out of pocket or will you be needing a loan...
