You shall probably have to look at affiliated banks through UN, World Bank, etc... who are willing to help low income international students acquire graduate assistance.
I do not know of any bank in the US who shall give an international student a loan with no US co-signer.
HOWEVER, some US banks may be willing to give you a personal loan (the tyoe used for house remodeling, auto buying etc...) up to a certain amount - but the interest rate will be VERY HIGH - ranging from 8% (with collateral and proof of medical school acceptance) to 16% (no collateral).

SABA SOM 2005
The Teri loan (CanHelp) if you are canadian will lend up to $25,000 per year if you have a good credit rating without a cosigner.

You5,
I may be completely confused, but I think I remember you mentioning that you are from France. Does France have an option in which they will fund your med school education for a "couple of years" tenure in the French military after you graduate...
Just an option, you may not be interested...
Best of luck!
HI Ducman,
thank you for thinking about me and trying to find out some possible options for me.
unfortunately this option doesn't exist in france as this is a socialist country, studies worth nothing in france and the french army doesn't have programs such as the one existing in the US army....
if you want the army to finance your medical studies you must study in french med school which cost approximately 400 US dollars per year...
yes my friend you read well only 400 dollars for each year of studies...
but that was a good thought and i appreciate a lot that you tried to help me....
thank you very much that is really motivating..i won't give medicine..never... even if i have to wait like 2 years more...

if you do let me know, i dont care about paying high interest as far as it make me doing my medicine and become a good doctor i don't care about living in a loft or a villa.
i was born in the poorest french social category in france so it's just a routine for me to live without billions
but with millions i would be against that

I believe that obstacles better a person - and you definitely fall into that category you5.
I am going to be visiting the bank next week for some of my own personal matters and I shall ask the banker if there are any options for you from an American bank.
You do have a checking account in Canada correct?
Anyway - work hard and save some money... you have fought this far, and I know you shall not quit anytime soon!
Cheers!
Yes Ducman, that's the summary of my life, OBSTACLES
Fortunately i love action
however i have to admit that sometime i would like my life to be easier in some ways like being admitted in medicine regardless to my social or financial origin but that's the way it is, it would be so boring if we'd lived
similarly, what could we learn from each other if we were all rich, genius...?
To answer your question, yes i have a checking account in canada since 2000, an good credit history however, my credit history started only on september 2003 (only 8 months ago).
You know man, each time i go to a canadian bank they refuse to give me money just because i am gonna do my medical studies in the US and they afraid that i never get back to CANADA.
i told the bank "who cares? isn't there free exchange between CANADA and US" but they are too closed minded, they don't even understand the meaning of earning 200000 USdollars.
Bank of montreal told me:"if you want 100000 CAD$, you must have a cosigner who earns at leat 50000 dolars/year and also must have 50000 dollars in savings or placements"
i answered the guy: so what you re telling me is to be born rich in Canada?, but as i was born in france and my parents still live there how do you want me to find a cosigner and those f@#%$#^% 100000 dollars while my father doesn't work in france since he had surgery?
anyway, i know that the system we live in is not equal for all, however i also kow that i have to be patient and workhard to save money, it's only up to me once again to put more energy on my dream...that is why in life we all must be passionate by our future career otherwise we would have given up a long time ago wouldn't we?
Again thank you Ducman for your help, in one way or another you will be awarded by life for your help, if not be myself
See you.
You5
