Well i'm a bit confused and i need some assistance. I am attending SGU for there premed program in Aug '08. The thing is, i'm going in as a first year, but i went to University of Califonia, Irvine (UCI), for a semester (should have been a year but i withdrew after the first semester due to the fact i didn't want to waste money on another semester because i knew i was coming to SGU...smart?...not smart?..idk)...Ok so my question is, will i get any credits for the classes i took at UCI or will they be disregarded? Taking into consideration i was a Business Economics major and none of my classes pertained to the medical field (except for maybe African American psychology and maybe biological anthropology). Question #2, if you can get credits for these kinds of classes, do the require that you have a certain grade in them in order to do so?:)

Since you've already left UCI and been accepted to SGU, just let things proceed as they are. The pre-med program is a very specific program, and I doubt any of your courses will transfer. Even if they did, it wouldn't make a difference in the amount of time to complete the pre-med program - it would still take 3 years.

Here's the list of courses you'll be taking for the pre-med program.
