I graduated from mua belize and YES the school is still open and YES even in 2008 resident programs are accepting students from mua belize with open arms. <-- documentation of such can be provided from the school administration, just ask people! please stop the hate and stick with the facts.NOBODY transfered to XAVIER because Xavier is falling apart. do not believe me? ask them about student loans and their programs in the caribbean? actually i hope you can keep up because they moved 3 TIMES in 2 years. all mua belize did was move from building to building 3 times withing the same town in belize. BIG DEAL!

If forums are such a sham why is she reading and posting on one? That's true BillyBill logic.

It is a big deal when the website shows a building that does not belong to the school and is not being used by the school. That's "bait and switch". And when the "president", JS, issues a statement to the local paper that the school is "at an undisclosed location". (see Medical University of the Americas of Belize - Gone or in rest?, Belize News, San Pedro Sun (http://www.sanpedrosun.net/08-112.html)). I'd really like to go to a school that has to hide its location.

I just did a quick check of your old posts jaded knight. and it appears you are a local san pedrano, as a belizean resident what is your vested interest in where the school is located these days, it's not like belize has any of it's own top tier programs, overall the belizean education is remedial at best. majority of the medical schools do not count as belizean since there are run by and cater strictly to non-belizeans. so this is of no concern to you.

Gringo students were not the only ones hurt by MUA. Several of my friends provided services for the school or loaned money and were not paid back. It cost them dearly. One friend lost everything. He borrowed money for the school using his hotel for collateral. He was promised to be paid back with great interest. The school did not pay him and he lost his hotel. He went downhill from there and is now dead. So don't say I shouldnt care.

Outdated quote but it is all an ongoing sham until the "new owners" produce more than just a few forum posts. So much potential -such incompetent management by prior owners. I loved Ambergeris Caye and the people and it would be refreshing to have a real admin, campus and some place the poor souls from prior terms can get transcripts. Yossarrian
