Hello everyone just got accepted and i was wondering if anyone has current edtions first semester book and any advices on the classes thank you so much

There are usually a lot of people getting rid of books when the semester is over and when the new semester starts. I would advise that you do one of two things: either buy used books on the internet and bring them with you on your carry-on bag or buy them from students when you get here. The second option is usually the cheapest but if you really want to make sure you have everything you need go with the first option. I bought used books on amazon.com and it was much cheaper than the online bookstore recommended by the school. Also, get yourself a stethescope, blood pressure cuff, and otoscope/opthalmoscope (not crucial but definitely nice to have) as I hear the PD1 class has changed since I took it. People tell me they are doing vital signs etc. As for advice about classes, work hard and you shall be rewarded. Remember that you are here to learn, not on vacation or here to party. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you need to cut loose and relax but be responsible about it.

all your going to need for first semester is
Netters atlas
BRS Anatomy

Thats pretty much all you will really need. If you want you can get BRS/Rapid review histo, BRS Embryo. Thats all.

Always always always get the BRS books. That should be the minimum for each class. Keep in mind that the profs can't teach you everything you need to know during class. You will see stuff on the shelf exams and USMLE that they never mentioned in class.

It means "Board Review Series"
