New Spots Will Provide Additional Opportunities for Students
June 23, 2008 – (Edison, N.J.) – Ross University School of Medicine is pleased to announce it will add a number of new core clinical rotations and electives to its growing roster of affiliates across the country. The new core spots will be located at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida, Leonard J. Chabert Hospital in Houma, Louisiana, and Genesis Family Medicine in Davenport, Iowa.
The new spots at Chabert Hospital will include core rotations in medicine, sur gery, pediatrics, family medicine and obstetrics/gynecology as well as nearly 50 fourth year electives. Cleveland Clinic Florida will offer internal medicine core rotations, and Genesis Family Medicine will offer family medicine core rotations.
“We are very excited to continue to expand our offerings to students in a number of important regional markets across the country, giving many the opportunity to be closer to home while embarking on this important phase of their education as doctors,” said Dr. Joseph Chu, dean of clinical sciences at Ross University.
These spots are the latest in a series of new clinical rotation positions Ross University has announced in recent months, which als o include: Synergy Medical in Saginaw, Michigan; Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit; Saint Anthony Hospital in Chicago; Bronx Lebanon Hospital and Caritas Health Care Planning’s Mary Immaculate and St. John’s Queens Hospitals in New York City; Harbor Hospital Center in Baltimore; and Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
