Where are you from? If you're from the US, then you can apply for the Stafford loans. If you're from the UK...sorry..no government funded loans for UK citizens studying outside of UK but you can still try and find some sort of private loans (very few people do that).

Almost all the malaysian/singaporean students who come here have some sort of an agreement with their respective governments, whereby, the government will pay for the student's tuition in return for service for quite a few years.

Others who come here are lucky as their parents pay for them.

Medicine is a full time job. There is hardly any time to work part time, I mean , really the only free time you have , you want to spend it just relaxing rather than .. working.

But.. you might gain some bucks if you manage to tutor your juniors, in any subjects. Needless to say , that you shud no your stuff first ... and only then , can you teach someone that. Atleast , this is how many students make some extra bucks here in Debrecen , Hungary. If you ask me ... i would rather.. study my own subjects , than to teach someone

And yeah .. you can always.. go back and .. find some work in summer and winter breaks... if you are not too tired.

and yeah .. you can also .. teach someone.. English language .. and gain some bucks from that. But, it usually is reciprocal , as in you teach them English , and they teach you the local language, so most of the people i know .. didn't earn from that.
