Hello,
I've been accepted to join a Medical School in the UK, to do my basic sciences and have future plans to do my clinical rotations in the United States.
I was hoping if anyone can tell me when and where I would be asked to show my undergraduate credits besides medical school. Is it a necessity when applying for USMLE STEP 1 , STEP 2, STEP 3, CSA, or ECFMG certification? Or is it required for applying to do licensure in the united states ? Or for joining a residency program?
I would be more than happy if someone can tell me what is the bare minimum credits for undergrad that i may need to qualify for a job in the states. I've heard that some states require 60 undergrad credits and some 90 for licensing. I'd appreciate it if someone can tell me whr i can find this information or simply tell me which states require how many credits.
I have a little over 60 credits. Would my lack of undergrad credits ever prevent me from being qualified to apply for a job/licensing in the United States?
I would be more than thankful if someone can give me their opinion on this... anyone who is now doing their residency program in the states, or applying for state license.. or just anyone who has useful information.
Thanx in advance, D.W.
