Hi md_neel

You said OSAP is not loaning anymore because of the record of the students in this University, where did you get that ? Did you talk to OSAP about it, and did they say anything in particular about loaning to students from Windsor?

I think OSAP still does give OSAP, the loan does not come from the province, but from the federal, the Canada student loan portion.

Have you talked to OSAP at all and what did they tell you?

As a matter of fact I did talk to OSAP people and this is what their reply was "We used to offer OSAP to the student of this university but from sept 2008 we will stop all the OSAP loans to the students of this university for the additional 2 years and then we will re-evaluate and you will find out" I guess you can call and ask and make sure what ever I am saying is right or wrong .

It's best if you can e-mail them and get something in writing. And then post the email here. Other wise its "hear say," "rumors," ect. Also consedring that you are a brand new poster...it might help your credibility posting some viable evidence.

I called them and asked them for an email or something in written and they don't seem really concerned about me any more..... I will suggest call them and tell them the full name of the university and ask them if it is OSAP eligible and then you will know...

From what I have read on other forums...only two or three Caribbean schools remain on the OSAP list.
