Does anybody that's at Brooklyn Hospital right now know if Karine is in?
I've been calling her for the past few days and it always goes to voicemail. Emailed her, but no response.

Someone on the SGU forum responded to my post and said that she saw her in her office (30 minutes prior to posting), as soon as I saw that post this afternoon I called and no answer again. I called the elective coordinator at MEAS again and asked her to call or email her again, after doing it last week as well. Well later this afternoon I finally got my confirmation although only for one of my rotations which still doesn't help me with getting financial aid....the battle begins again tomorrow morning to get my other elective confirmed.
I suggest calling MEAS and asking them to call or email her.
Or at least let them know that you are having trouble contacting her. I called and complained a few times before finally asking the coordinator to call for me.

I have been calling for days, and all I want to know is a rough idea of the schedule I will have in OB/Gyn and IM so my wife and I can arrange her work schedule / childcare.

You don't think they would mind a 1 year old tagging around with me do you? hehehe:shock:

I would suggest going to the SGU Clinical site.
Ask the people there, b/c that is one of their main sites in NYC.
I'm sure they would be able to give you an answer.

I emailed her for months and months, one email a week, called every day, left messages, NO RESPONSE EVER. Finally I had to show up at Brooklyn hospital and go right into her office to get the work done. Sucks if you aren't in NYC at the time! She said she had like 140 emails to read. Half of those had to be mine. One you are in her office she'll take 100% care of you, but until she catches up (been months), you are screwed!
