anyone ever buy a Dell Laptop from Dominica and have it ship

Did anyone buy a laptop from www.dell.com while at Ross and have it shipped to Dominica, if so, what type of experience did you have with this?

I know its possible, but don't know anybody who has done it. I've priced their shipping prices to Dominica and they are pretty expensive. Two options 1) shop at the local computer stores here for a computer (Courts [they sell Dell], Muslim Store, Alpha Omega, etc). 2) Ask the IT department if they can help find a good deal on a computer [they buy Dell all the time]. 3) Order from the states and have it delieverd to family there. Then have them ship it (PACKED SECURELY!!) via UPS or FedEX, or even Amerijet (if you pack it extra securely).
