I just took my step 1 exam on 5/29/08 and was wondering when I should be getting my score report. The testing site says that it should not be until mid July...but I am soooo anxious. Does oasis still work...thanks

OASIS still works. It's where you access score reports for the USMLE STEPs.

It's not as simple as that. In oder to get a score of a passing score, you have to get between 60-70% of the questions correct. What % you will need will depend on the difficulty of the exam you get. If you get a really hard exam, you need to get 60% correct to pass. If you get a easier version of the test, you will need close to 70% correct to pass. So, as far as Step 1 scoring goes, getting 7 out of 10 questiond right, does not mean your score is a 70%. It could be 60% or 80% or anything in between and beyond.
