NEW UPDATE on LOANS

:-smiley7I just received a phone call about the loans. Statia has obtained two new loan companies, I'm not sure exactly which ones or where they are from. All I know is that one is deferred and the other is not. I will get details later from the Financial Aid lady....

I got an email today as well. The two new loans are personal loans...however, I was also informed that by end of month there will be a "traditional" lender available. They will be contacting students letting them know as soon as it happens, everybody keep those fingers crossed...

I received an email as well. They wrote that a private student loan with deferred payments was coming to Statia. If it happens, I know where I will attend this fall.

That is a top secret. No just kidding SMU but still wanting to find out what other schools are doing about the loan situation. I actually start in the Fall. Are u already at Statia?

SOMEWHAT BAD NEWS:(....the Financial Aid lady said that N. may have mislead some people with the info (the loan status is still the same as of now)...but, they are working on it.

She won't even tell potential interested students what the status is because she is afraid the information will get out and Dr. F. of Saba will get his hands on it and then they will sabotage St. E. Could you believe that. She actually made that comment. I was shocked and sadenned that these Carib schools engage in such sabotage.
