Go to the USMLE website for latest passing score cut-offs.

182 to 185 is not the end of the world....3 points....

your goal is not to pass with a 185?...you want to do over 200

The latest passing score is 185.

For my own personal amusement I am starting a rumor though that the passing score will be raised to 195, you heard it here first folks :-)

lol. YOu better start it on the right note. This tumor/rumor will fly as fast as it comes.

Considering that you started in January, you would need to take step 1 within 2 weeks and have your rotations back-to-back to make it to the match.

SOOOOOO, you need a ~80-82 GPA and a certain score on the comp to make it to the 2010 match.

I just checked mine and it says 185 is minimum to pass. The two digit score is 75. When speaking to attendings about the scores of applicants, they always refer to the two digit score.

OK OK....i did some research and no its not a percentile! i guess that question derived from getting back shelf/comp scores and not knowing what the 3 digit score means compared to the 2 digit score. hopefully the bbcm people will clarify
