Does any one know if it is required to have a bachelors degree to get the MD or to get licensed in the US. I know that usually US schools require only 90 credits or prereqs to get in but if you only took the 90 credits and then got in to a carib school would you have any troubles getting licensed or getting a job without a BA or ** once you move back to the US. thanks.

so does that mean no there shouldnt be any problem getting licensed without a bachelors degree, or no usually the 60-90 credits is a minimun and not having the degree could be a problem...

i once heard of a state or two requiring a bachelors degree, but i could not find out which one it was. probably a rumor. most states have the 90 credit hour rule, some have the 60 credit hour rule.

if you have the minium required credits (60 or 90 depending on the state) you should be fine. This is just one requirement, there will be others that you will have to fill, i.e. clinicals, school approval, and usmle and so forth.
