Hey there. I've been actually lurking the forums for quite a while now, so I guess I'll take the plunge as well...

Anyhow, I just got the rest of my marks back from the university (in Toronto, Canada): 3.44cGPA for my undergrad. With a 31R MCAT, where would one go from here, if interested in Aussie medicine?

More importantly, what's the support for the return to Canada after graduation?

Ahh gpa just a bit low for cnd schools... need at least a 3.70 usually, but awesome MCAT I think you'd have a great shot at Australian schools!

UQ has most likely filled their quota or will by the time they would get to your application. Seats fill up very fast there.

Your best shot would be those schools who only accept applications through ACER. These would be Sydney and Monash. ANU accepts both so I believe they will all be reviewed at once.
