hi,
I just wrote nbme 1 and got a 175. I think it might be due to the fact that I haven't gone over path but i am a little scared since i am writing the step july 2nd. I still have to review path, anatomy, behavioral sciences. Should I be freaking out or if anyone has any advice as to what i should do please help.

hey. don't worry or freak out. no point in doing either. do this: read rapid review path from front to back. take 7 days to do that. skim kaplan books for other subjects. do usmleworld. do the questions timed, unused and random. read and understand the explainations. read 1st aid. take another nbme. then see where u stand. best of luck.

Hello there. First of all, don't freak out. Let's start with pathology. It overlaps with many of the other subjects and is an integral part of step 1. Take a look at the breakdown of NBME score results. Were there any subjects in particular that you performed weak in, and also how do you access yourself in thoses areas? How have you been preparing til now, and what is your method of studying? Don't stress out too much as it won't be productive, but this little push from the NBME might even make you more successful in the real exam! I just need a bit more information from you and would be happy to help you. PM me or respond to the post, and I will do my best to make myself available for advice. This applies to others that need advice as well.
