Just curious as to see if anybody has gotten accepted into pre-med or med programs with lower grades and/or MCAT scores and/or lack of medical related work experience? I'd appreciate any input, thanks alot!

I have a 2.6 GPA and have completed gen. bio I and gen. chem I with C's, gen. bio II with a C, and gen. chem II with a B. I am currently completing my college algebra class now. I have my freshman year of sciences out of the way and all my gen. eds. I scored a 1350 on the SAT Reasoning Test. I haven't taken the MCAT yet. I don't have any medical related work experience. I was wanting to apply to the pre-med program. What would my chances be?

You wont have any problems.

St Martinus dont get many students.

So they take whosover they can get.

You are good to go. Just apply.

I am entering the MD-1 program in the fall and one of my friends that is an MD-1 down there right now started with the Pre-Med program at St. Martinus. He really liked it and only spoke positive things about it. If you want to be a doctor I would go for it. The Medical program down there is growing. The entering class in the Fall is the biggest they have had and construction to make the school bigger starts the end of June. It is exciting.:p
