Anyone one out there have any suggestions what I should study or review while waiting for my Clinical site? It looks like it will be a long wait.

Research other medical schools to transfer to for clinicals! Go this route, and you'll start rotations much earlier than SMU!

Good luck ;P

all the blueprints r good watch out with blueprints peds.... the program director at the place that i did a rotation at chewed me out when i quoted incorrect info from blueprints. he basically told me to throw out blueprints from that point forward because he was tired of med students using that "garbage book."

the psych one was pretty worthless too.

and so true- the attendings hate it when you quote a "review" book...the family med PD asked me what i read the night before and i figured i was safe with the "st f rancis guide to outpatient medicine"...i wasn't....

1st aid for the wards was a good suggestion...hard to study for for step II when you haven't done any clinicals...
