Hi, I tried doing a forum search but it kept giving me a 'fatal error'. I know this has probably been addressed in previous posts, but I just would like to know how one would be able to do their clinical rotations in the UK. I believe Good Hope is the hospital, but I have no idea how the process works. Do we need to apply? Do we first write the PLABs?

I would greatly appreciate help in answering these questions and providing further information with this. Thanks!

to start clinicals in England, you need to get in touch with the school and they will set it up for you....you dont need to write any exam as far as I know.

If you are just doing clinical s there than the PLAB is not necessary to my knowledge. But if you are planing to work in the UK than yes.

If you are just doing clinical s there than the PLAB is not necessary to my knowledge. But if you are planing to work in the UK than yes.


i have also been searching for this info, but its disappointing to find out that few info is available on this issue concerning clinicals in uk.

well i am already in contact with goodhope hospitals,and would soon get all the info directly from them.

But MOD, concerning what u said previously, is it that you would need PLAB to do cliniclas there, if u plan on working in uk later on?
or what you meant is doing clinicals and writing plab, incase we plan on working there?
didnt really get it?

You dont need PLAB if you are going to do rotations in UK .... You need it to work there..it is similar to USMLE.....
