hey, my phone interview is on Friday and I was wondering what kind of questions would they be asking? If anyone can share some of the questions they asked them on the interview it would be helpful. Thanks.

What do you hope to gain during your medical education?
Describe a typical day from your elementary school days.
What questions do you have for me about our school?
What is your weakness that concerns you most?
Name some strategies to address the problem of smoking among teens; talk about some that haven't been tried before.
What would your best friend say about you in convincing me I should admit you to our medical school?
If you could be any character in history, who would it be, and why?
How did you decide to apply to our medical school?
Why did you choose our specific program?
How are you a match for our medical school?
What do you do in your spare time?
What other medical schools are you applying to?
How do you view abortion?
Would you perform abortions as a doctor? Under what conditions?
What are three things you want to change about yourself?
How would you describe the relationship between science and medicine? Name something you are most proud of…
Which family member has influenced your life so far and why?
What do you think about the health care system and which way should it go?
What do you think is wrong with the current health care system in the US?
Name a meaningful experience you've had and how it shaped you to pursue work as a physician.
Is there a good deal of drug use at your school? Possible follow up: Have you taken drugs?
Which languages do you speak? Why?
Which of your college courses interested you the most?
If you couldn't ever be trained to be a physician, what would you be?
In your present living situation, how do you settle disputes with your roommates?
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
What interests you outside of medicine and getting into medical school?

the whole interview lasts about 20-25 minutes, could be longer depending on your answers. the amount of questions vary from person to person. if you are a highly competitive applicant you will get asked less questions, if you are a high school grad or less competitive applicant then you may be asked more.

they didn't ask me a single question. He just said he liked my letters of recommendations and he saw no problem with anything. He told me about the school and said I should get my acceptance letter by next week, which I did today.

Hey what kind of qualifications did you have in terms of undergrad years an gpa?

I didn't complete undergrad - but I have the required number of credits for licensing (over 60 credits - I have 65). I have a lot of research experience, 3 years in University on a Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine project, which I started in high school and a year in a EEG lab. I had a lot of volunteer experience too, so those 3 things made for great recommendation letters (but they accepted me just reading the first recommendation letter because they didn't receive the other two yet - which was weird). My GPA was not so good - only a 3.0, but I know people who have gotten into it with lower averages such as 2.8's and 2.9's. Its not a competitive school in terms of getting in I believe.

getting in isn't the issue.
~30% of students actually complete basic sciences on time.

many students have retakes and fail classes that hold them back.

especially now more than ever....so many kids got held back from going to Carbondale this semester from what I heard...usually they let students take a whole lot of of retakes in a small period, but that isnt the case anymore....

It's done!!!!!! The guy asked me only two questions. 1. Do you have any mental/physical disabilities? 2. Are you currently taking any drugs? That's all and he said that I will recieve my acceptance letter on Monday by e-mail. I asked him if that's the hard copy and he said yes. I guess that he really liked my personal statement and letter of recommendations.

Please do not worry about the phone interview. I have also had panic attack. But it turn out be so easy that you do not need to think for the answers. I had two questions and my answers were no and no. He first asked about what school you went and recieve a degree or not. Then it was the last two.

For financial aid, when he asks you if you have any questions at the end, then you should ask him that. I didn't asked because my dad is going pay for it.

For visa, if you are from the U.S.A. and or Canada, you will bring your passport, and other documents with you at the island, on the first day of registration, and they will give the visa.

Again, he will ask if you have any questions and you should freely ask him and he will guide you.

Also, there is an open house on June 26 at 6pm in New York where all those guys come and explain everything while answering your questions. Is it not only in New York, but other places with different dates as well. You can check the open house for Windsor on their website and pick the location that is closest to you. One more thing, you have call them to reserve the seat. The phone # is on that website of the open house.

Stay clam and have confidence. It will be 100% straight forward. At the end, he will ask you if have any questions. One note, the guy had speaker on and was communicating with the speaker, so make sure that you had your speaker on as well to hear better.

Do you present that e-mail copy of acceptance letter to the bank to apply for line of credit? Or would the school give you the cost of education sheet to take to the bank? and how many weeks before you get the admission package in the mailbox from the day you received your acceptance ltter by e-mail?
