since there is only so much one can cram into a topic heading, let me explain......

i sent my app in to the 4 good schools in carib. from the other three, i received confirmation and all kinds of mail for the following many months. saba never sent a postcard, or a letter, or anything and hasn't to this day. i sometimes call the office and inquire about this or that, and the latest time was told my file is complete and being reviewed but i just find it strange as hell that no one from there has contacted me from once, in any matter, written or otherwise.

i should add at this point, that my numbers suck. 2.5/24

but still, if the big 3 can be so organized and attentive, why can't saba. and for that matter, if they are simply not interested, is is asking so much in exchange for my fifty bucks that they simply issue a rejection letter so i have one less school to worry about?

this total lack of correspondence is just baffling to me.

This is completely out of character for Saba. They have an incredible track record of taking care of people. In my case, I received the acceptance letter 3 weeks after sending in my application, everything was blinding fast: The app complete postcard, the phone call scheduling the interview, the actual interview & finally the acceptance letter.

I don't know what is going on in your case, besides calling Gardner, there is not much else you can do.

Good Luck!

9 months? My experience in life has been that if they are interested in you they are responsive. Maybe, it is time for you to move on?

I agree with Wantmd, My application was processed very quickly and efficiently. Its unfortunate that yours has not yet been processed, you really should express your concern to the Gardner office (they are all very nice there).

Good luck

Yikes! NINE months!? I would take it as a silent rejection after the first 2 months, especially if I've contacted them and they're reply was something like "we're reviewing it" and you never hear from them again. I got impatient only after 2 weeks, so I emailed them to speed it up (well, not in those words exactly, haha). They were actually very efficient. Got my acceptance a week later.

I forgot what my point was in this post O_o

I'm sorry you had no reply for 9 months, but best of luck with your future schools!

well, i talked to the admissions office yesterday and was asked for my current mailing address, the most proactive thing they have said to me or asked me for since sending the app. the lady said i should receive something soon. when i asked her if she could tell me the decision, she hesitated before saying she just has the file. i am 100 percent certain it's a rejection, at this point i just hope they auto apply me for mua in case i don't get into auc.
