that's going to be very rough. "good" areas are very expensive. You might consider pet friendly apartments. Check out the local news papers, craig's list, and a Realtor for help. A two bed room apt in a good area will be around $1,700 a month if not more, a house will be at least double that but also depending on the house. I hope your husband has a good job.

not in paterson!! lol!

RJ is right -a 2 bedroom in the area is ~ 1700 give or take...further west will probably be cheaper..the closer to NYC the more expensive the place...

You may like to live close to Passaic, the next town to Paterson, besides you have access to route 21 that takes you to Newark,Elizabeth area,or to Garden State Parkway N or S,also you easily have access to route 3 to NYC.Good luck.

Look up Ridgefield Village in Clifton, NJ. I couldn't post the link since I have less than 20 posts.

Nice area. Convenient to NYC and highways. 10 minutes to St. Joe's

That is funny!!! My husband is the SGU student!!!! We were in the lottery for Michigan.. However, I guess the school decided that a "Family" would be better off in the "HIGHER RENT AREA"... It has been a Nightmare to find a place with the money the school is giving us. We are just really upset about the whole thing.

sorry to hear that. nj/ny isn't exactly cheap when it comes to cost of living.
