Has anyone had any experience using the Biochem and/or Micro books from the Rapid Review series? The whole outline format is pretty ideal for studying, I'm just concerned hey still might be overkill for Step 1.

Whole Lotta Hola Islander,
utilized the rapid review biochemistry during my lead up to step 1. enjoyed every slightly more than 200 pages of the read-perhaps i ushered thought to cortex stating now was the time to finally tuck it all in. features good charts, nutrition summary, genetics, pathology correlations, though one item, the molecular biochemistry, may not be quite enough.* the asterisk, i'll explain-below.
* thanks for following along. i did not have a strong molecular biochemistry background & my test held quite a parade for the line of questions.
the book was a good read plus it lacked the length of lippincott (a fine read in its own respect). as for micro, have not viewed it. are they necessary for the exam? FA does an excellent job summarizing the juicy details. again, the molecular aspect, i wasn't quite ready for analyzing the family tree of inbred rats. here's to lending less confusion, me.
